The Ueda family and Yutaka have come on a trip to celebrate Tane's birthday. Everyone enjoys BBQ with fish, meat, and local vegetables they got. After that, they head to the hot springs that they were looking forward to, but Minoru suddenly sees a message on Yutaka's smartphone in the dressing room; he starts to misunderstand and becomes uneasy. After returning to the lodge, Tane, tired from playing, mutters meaningful words to Yutaka and falls asleep. Yutaka and Minoru start decorating the room for Tane, but things are awkward for them now. They misunderstand each other's words and actions and interpret them negatively. After finishing the work, Yutaka and Minoru decide to have a drink on the veranda in an awkward atmosphere.
